The Restoration
How it works
Pixl runs as a story in seasons: chapters move the world forward, and everything you ship repairs it.

01Join the world
Make a character and drop into Pixl, a 2D world you share with everyone else who is building right now.
Take a Trial
An NPC needs something real built: a website, an app, a piece of hardware. Pick one and it's yours.
Build your own thing
Or build something nobody asked for. Your own idea counts exactly the same.

02Ship it
Send in what you built. A reviewer checks your hours and rates the build from Tier 1 to Tier 4. Harder build, higher tier.
03It becomes Restoration Energy
Your hours multiplied by your tier. This one number is what everything else runs on.
T1 Spark
12.5 RE per hour
T2 Signal
15 RE per hour
T3 Grid
18.75 RE per hour
T4 Nexus
25 RE per hour
04You get paid
Restoration Energy sets the rate that build pays. Every project starts at 40 pixels an hour and climbs toward 60 as it earns more energy, so bigger and harder builds pay more per hour. Pixels buy real things in the shop.
pixels per hour, per project

05The world comes back
Your Restoration Energy also feeds the chapter goal that everyone fills together. Fill it and the story moves: a new region opens, NPCs return, new Trials appear.
Operations
Between chapters, one week themed events. A game jam, a hackathon, a week of building tools.
Joining late is fine
Unlocked regions never close. Turn up whenever and build anything that is open.
For example
The same loop at three sizes. More hours and a higher tier means more energy, and more pixels.
